The emotionally safe alternative to transactional therapy.

Not rushed. Not cold. A softer beginning for the hard things you carry.

Before you have to explain everything…

If starting therapy feels scary, you are not alone.

Many people want support but hesitate because therapy can feel intimidating, clinical, or disconnected from who they are. Healing Cor is designed to lower that fear. The first experience should feel calm, clear, and human — not like a transaction.

Why Healing Cor feels different

Clinical care, held with warmth.

Healing Cor begins with emotional safety. Before goals, worksheets, or next steps, the work starts with feeling seen, respected, and able to move at your own pace.

Emotional safety first

A gentle space for anxiety, grief, overwhelm, identity, and tender emotions without judgment.

Relationship over transaction

You are not entering a marketplace. You are building trust with a therapist who knows your story.

Bilingual, culturally aware care

Sessions are available in English and Spanish, with space for identity, family, and context.

The safe first step

You do not need perfect words to begin.

The first conversation is not about proving how much you need help. It is about arriving honestly, asking questions, and noticing whether this space feels right.

Arrive as you are. Bring what feels heavy, confusing, tender, or unfinished.

Find your pace. Talk, pause, reflect, create, or simply begin with what feels possible.

Leave with clarity. Understand what support could look like, what it may cost, and what the next step would be.

Healing beyond words

Art therapy gives emotion somewhere safe to go.

Art Therapy is not about making “good art.” It is a therapeutic process that uses creativity to help people express, process, and understand what may be difficult to say directly.

Drawing, painting, collage, clay, digital art, or simple materials can help children, teens, adults, and families explore emotions with less pressure and more safety.

Meet Angy

A warm guide for emotional healing.

Hi, I’m Angelica Hanon — Angy — a licensed counselor and board-certified art therapist. I created Healing Cor as a space where therapy can feel personal, creative, and emotionally safe.

My approach is person-centered and positive. I believe each person already carries capacity for growth, and therapy can help uncover that capacity with compassion and care.
